Yoshi (b. 1988) – aka Joskaude Pakalkaite, Miss Yoshi and Yoshi Universe – is a 23-year-old  freelance illustrator and graphic designer, comics, graffiti and tattoo artist, dj, writer-journalist from Vilnius.

She has been living and working in London since 2006 when she was accepted to Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design.

Since graduation Yoshi has concentrated on the truly visual as well as the conceptual expressions of art, and is part of the generation of young, multitasking, alternative females now emerging from the exotic Eastern Europe.

Yoshi is participating in the Nordicomics Baltic Tour 2011 in Tallinn, Estonia.

“Best Lithuanian modern comics artist.” – Gediminas Siaulys (Petpunk)

“I would love to have you in this issue again, as the last issue some Yoshiness is missing.” – David Schilter (kuš!)
