Terhi Ekebom ( b. 1971) is an artist and illustrator from Helsinki. She graduated Master of Arts from the University of Arts and Design in Helsinki (now Aalto University).

She made her debut with the graphic novel A Cow’s Dream in 2001 at Napa Books. Since then she has published four more books. Her graphic stories are known for their strong, emotional pictures drawn with sensitive lines. The ambience in Ekebom’s comics is very poetic, leaving room for the reader’s imagination.

Her work has also appeared in several anthologies and has been shown many exhibitions in Europe, Brasilia and Canada. Currently she is working on her next graphic novel The Orchid of Christmas (Asema, 2011).

She also loves to make wall paintings.

Terhi Ekebom participated in the Nordicomics tour 2010 Copenhagen workshop and anthology as well as the St. Petersburg exhibition and workshop.
