“In 1999 I moved to Copenhagen from Thy on the northwest coast of Denmark where I grew up. In Copenhagen I joined the comics and illustration workshop Fort Kox, where I met other comic book artists and illustrators and started working on my first comic book Ghost.

Mari Ahokoivu

Mari Ahokoivu (FIN b. 1984) has studied comics at Liminka art school and at EESI, Angoulême and is currently attending Kvarnby Comics School in Malmö. Her publications include Sarjakuvantekijän opas (BTJ kustannus 2007) and Löydä minut tästä kaupungista (Asema 2009) and several zines.

Bendik Kaltenborn

Bendik Kaltenborn (NO, b.1980) was raised in the gardens of Oslo, Norway. His grandparents taught him how to swim and the importance of eating fruits.

His comics have been published in many anthologies including Glömp, Kuti Kuti, Swindle Magazine, The Drama, Stripburger and Strapazin. A selection of these and other comics has been released by No Comprendo Press. His prize winning animated short film has a theme of death.
