Simon Bukhave (DK, b. 1978)

“In 1999 I moved to Copenhagen from Thy on the northwest coast of Denmark where I grew up. In Copenhagen I joined the comics and illustration workshop Fort Kox, where I met other comic book artists and illustrators and started working on my first comic book Ghost.

It came out in 2002 and since then I have put out the books Alt hvad jeg har i min ene hånd (All that I hold in my hand), Skæbnen er en ådselæder(Destiny is a scavenger) and contributed to anthologies and fanzines with shorter comics.

Today I’m a member of the studio Over Floden in Copenhagen and I work with comics, art, animation and illustration.”

Simon Bukhave participated in the Nordicomics Helsinki 2009 exhibition, theNordicomics tour 2010 exhibition, Copenhagen 2010 workshop and anthology.
