Rikke Bakman (DK, b. 1980) discovered comics late, but found that it is the perfect medium for her storytelling. Memory is the keystone in her stories, memories which open up to moods and sensory impressions.

Bakman graduated from the Funen Academy of Fine Art and the Comics School in Malmö, Sweden, in 2009. She debuted with Tag mig med(Take me with you) in 2007 and put out her first graphic novelGlimt (Glimpses) in 2011, which is published in Denmark and in Sweden at Aben maler and Optimal press.

Rikke Bakman participated in the Nordicomics tour 2010 Copenhagen workshop and the Nordicomics Baltic exhibition.
