Mari Ahokoivu (FIN b. 1984) has studied comics at Liminka art school and at EESI, Angoulême. Her publications include books Sarjakuvantekijän opas (BTJ kustannus 2007) andLöydä minut tästä kaupungista (Asema 2009).
Her comics have been published in many anthologies and magazines including C’est Bon anthology and Kuti. Ahokoivu also teaches comics and works in various projects with the Finnish Comics Society.

Mari Ahokoivu has participated on the Nordicomics Helsinki 2009 Workshop and anthology, the Nordicomics tour 2010 workshops in Stockholm, Copenhagen and St. Petersburg, the Nordicomics Copenhagen 2010 Anthology and theNordicomics St. Petersburg 2010 blog.
