About the Nordicomics library

The original Nordicomics library portal was produced and maintained by Nordic comics libraries, museums and associations. The catalogue contained bibliographic references of appr. 10% (8/2005) of the material on Nordic comics libraries’ holdings: comics and graphic novels, small press, non-fiction books and articles.

How to make an interlibrary request?
First you have to locate the book. In some cases (e.g. Libris) you can submit an electronic interlibrary request directly into the database and choose the library where you want to pick it up. If not, go to your nearest (public) library and fill in a request form. The librarian will send your request forward. He/she will also inform you when the book has arrived and is ready to be picked up. Prepare to wait 1-2 weeks (or even 3-4 weeks if the book comes from another continent) and to pay a small fee for your loan.

Thank you
