Simon Bukhave (DK, b. 1978)
“In 1999 I moved to Copenhagen from Thy on the northwest coast of Denmark where I grew up. In Copenhagen I joined the comics and illustration workshop Fort Kox, where I met other comic book artists and illustrators and started working on my first comic book Ghost.
Signe Parkins Benjaminsen (DK, b. 1979) graduated as an illustrator from Designskolen Kolding in 2007. She works in the field between art and comics.
Rikke Villadsen (DK) is a visual artist working in the field of illustration, art and comics. She depicts a surreal, sometimes gloomy, sometimes funny world of weird edgy characters.
Rikke Bakman (DK, b. 1980) discovered comics late, but found that it is the perfect medium for her storytelling. Memory is the keystone in her stories, memories which open up to moods and sensory impressions.
Mikkel Sommer (1987) grew up in Copenhagen, has a brief background in animation, lives now with his prettier half in Berlin.
Jacob Ørsted is a comic book writer from Nørrebro, Copenhagen and one of the contributors to the anthology From Wonderland With Love (Aben Maler 2009). Jacob has worked with the illustrator Søren Mosdal since their release of ‘Hundegott’ in 1998.
Christian Skovgaard (DK) lives in Copenhagen, where he supports his stab at becoming a graphic novelist by holding down a job as an architectural model builder. He uses the comic medium to document things and places in his immediate environment to uncover their embedded stories about our society and culture.
